A New Addition

The newest member of our family has arrived, all 8 pounds 4 ounces of him. We welcomed our third child into the world the 18th of March with much protest on his part, he didn’t seem quite ready for his grand arrival and though he came out just perfect mommy however had a few complications and after taking a few weeks to get better I am now happily at home with all three of my wonderful children and loving every minute of my now even more kaotic life. My husband was able to come home and was so thrilled to see his new son that it brought a tear to my eyes to see the shear happiness come across his face at just being able to hold him. My worries about how my daughter was going to take to having a little brother quickly dissolved as I watched as she met him for the first time with a big smile and kiss, and as my son came in and handed his new brother the controller for the video games I figured he too would be okay with the newest change in his life. I so far have been very lucky as our newest little man has been a real joy sleeping for four to five hours at a time and for the most part a very happy and content little guy who even at this young of an age seems to kind of just go with the flow, a good trait to have in this house hold. He is however a mover and shaker even at this young age and is already holding his head up and has started to roll onto his belly, he seems to be following in his sisters footsteps which means it is going to be an even busier household but that is what makes our lives interesting and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Yes things are going well it’s funny how the joys of a new baby can make even the roughest of times seem trivial when compared to the wonder of new life.
